Estoril Open 2006 News and Events

The 17th Estoril Open gets underway from April 29, with star names from the ATP/WTA Tour heading to Portugal for one of 14 combined events on the calendar.

Former World No. 1 Marat Safin, reigning Tennis Masters Cup champion David Nalbandian, Nikolay Davydenko, Andy Murray and dual Olympic champion Nicolas Massu feature in the men’s field.

Italian Flavia Pennetta and Gisela Dulko of Argentina will lead the title-charge in the women's draw, following the late withdrawal of defending champion Lucie Safarova with a shoulder injury.
