ATP stars Sjeng Schalken and Alberto Martin took to the streets on the opening day of the Estoril Open when they played tennis outside the Estoril Casino.

The two players took advantage of the beautiful setting and got away from the clay courts for a few minutes for a slightly different game of tennis.

"It's beautiful here in Estoril so we went playing outside the Casino," said Schalken. "When I was younger I played tennis everywhere, on the streets, against walls, everywhere. That's how I learned how to play tennis. We had fun here at the 'practice court' at the Casino. It's nice to be on the hard courts again. I'm having a good time with Alberto."

Martin added: "We tried to book a practice court but there were no courts so we came here instead to have some fun. It shows that you can play tennis wherever you want."
